June 1, 12:09 a.m. – Officers responded to 1709 Seventh Ave. on a report that an individual was refusing to leave the residence. A juvenile female resident was subsequently cited for being a person under legal age in possession of alcohol.

June 1, 3:20 p.m. – Civil dispute at 1807 Eight Ave. No charges were filed.

June 1, 6:30 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Fifth Ave.

June 3, 12:35 a.m. – Officers were dispatched to a residence in Luzerne to assist the Benton County Sheriff’s Department with a domestic dispute.

June 3, 12:35 p.m. – An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Fifth Ave. It was later removed.

June 3, 9:20 p.m. – Phone harassment was reported at 116 11th St.

June 4, 10:14 a.m. – An initial report of criminal mischief at 1610 Ninth Ave. was an apparent attempted break-in as officers discovered a back window had been pried at the property.

June 5, 2:15 p.m. – Krystol Marie Andrews, 22, Belle Plaine, was arrested at the Belle Plaine Police Department on a warrant charging a violation of the pseudoephedrine purchase restriction. She was transported to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

June 6, 12:46 a.m. – Police assisted the Marengo Police Department with a burglary investigation by stopping a suspect vehicle. No arrests were made at the time of the stop.

June 6, 3:30 a.m. – Police responded to 1108 14th St. on a report of a loud party.

June 6, 9:30 a.m. – Officers responded to the 900 block of 12th St. on a report of an intoxicated driver in a U.S. Postal Service vehicle. The postal service employee, Theodore Schminky, 41, Marengo, was charged with OWI and transported to the Iowa County Jail.

June 7, 12:03 a.m. – A domestic dispute at 912 Eighth Ave. remains under investigation.

June 7, 3:25 p.m. – A dog was reported to be running at large at 210 Seventh Ave.

June 7, 4:19 p.m. – Police responded to a car-deer accident on County Road E-66, just west of Highway 21. A 2007 Toyota Avalon, driven by Shawna Gowdy, Montour, struck the deer and the vehicle sustained approximately $4,000 in damage.
