Verlyn Joseph Coover, 64, of Clarinda and formerly of Belle Plaine and Cedar Rapids, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha following a lengthy illness. Graveside services with Military Rites will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Belle Plaine by Rev. Jack Andrews. There will be no public visitation. Hrabak Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by a son, Todd (Genna) Parry of Marion; granddaughter, Kaylee to be born in August 2009; and three nieces and nephews.
