Betty Louise Musel, 70, of Belle Plaine, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, from complications of cancer. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Belle Plaine by Rev. Mike Mescher and Deacon Jim Berger. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 3-7 p.m. at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine.
She is survived by her husband Paul, two sons, Tom (Donna) of Storm Lake, and Corey (Lori) of San Marcos, CA.; one daughter, Tam (Tim) Squiers of Belle Plaine; two brothers, John (Rose) Hanzelka of Conrad, and David (Carolyn) Hanzelka, of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to the East Central Iowa Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, 1642 42nd Street NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
