You will have two chances to sample a baked potato bar at Belle Plaine High School this week. The Belle Plaine Athletic Booster Club will be hosting two such events in advance of Parents’ Night for the wrestlers on Wednesday and for the basketball teams on Friday.
Dinner will be available in the lunch room from 5-7:30 p.m. both nights. Cost is $5 for adults and $4 for those 12 and under.
Proceeds will go toward the upgrade of the track and football stadium, where an all-weather track surface is to be installed this spring and new bleachers constructed.
The club is also offering a Gilbert Arenas NBA basketball jersey in a raffle. Tickets are available at the high school. The drawing for the jersey will be Feb. 12.
