LaVonne M. Kouba, 84, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer from complications of Dementia.  Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Christ United Methodist Church by Rev. James Campbell.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Arrangements are with the Hrabak Funeral Home.

She is survived by sisters, Evelyn (Kenneth) Feuerbach of Van Horne, Eleanor Andresen of Belle Plaine, Genevieve Kromminga of Keystone, and Beverly Wentworth of Mason City; brother, Duane (Marilyn) Konicek of Belle Plaine; special niece, Allison (Mike) Bachelder of Belle Plaine, and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Konicek; husband, Milo; sisters, Violet Cox, Maxine Podhajsky, and Patricia Fry; and brothers, Marvin, Donald, and Harold Konicek.
