<p>Joseph A. Kolash, 80, died Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Marengo Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 4 at the Hrabak Funeral Home by Deacon Joe Behounek. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.</p>
<p>He is survived by his son, Scott and wife Tammy of Belle Plaine; grandsons, Joseph and John; and special friend, Sue.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley in 1997 and his parents, Joe and Bessie Bartachek Kolash.</p>

<p>She is survived by a son, Dennis (Mari Jeanne) Waterbeck of  Fort Worth, TX; a daughter, Carol Waterbeck (David Urban) of Seattle, WA;  sisters, Helen Hruby of Toledo and Vera Hruby of Tama; brother-in-law, Walter  Waterbeck of Cedar Rapids; sisters-in-law, Frances Snyder of Cedar Rapids and  Isabelle Waterbeck of Grinnell.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her  parents; husband Leonard in 1997; a brother, Louis Karkosh; and a sister,  Mildred Cizek.</p>

Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 30 at the Hrabak Funeral Home  by Deacon Joe Behounek. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with Military Rites.  Visitation will be after noon on Saturday.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife,  Ruth; sons, Bill (Sam) Carter of Elberon and Mike (Lisa) Kadera of Wichita, KS;  daughters, Laurie Kadera and Tammy (Jeff) Behounek, both of Belle Plaine; Tami  (Kevin) Votrobeck of Clutier, Penny Dunning of Chelsea and Sonja Kaufman of  Tiffin; brothers, Harry Kaufman of Derby, KS, Robert Kaufman of Cedar Rapids,  Guy (Cheri) Belton of Tama, Larry (Regina) Belton of Arthur, IL; sisters, Sharon  (Larry) Beck of Chelsea and JoAnn (Wilbur) Ringler of Grinnell; also by 20  grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.</p>

<p>Ruth Ann Ulch, 82, of Irving, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at St.  Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a short illness.  Services will be  10:00 AM Monday, March 28 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church by Deacon Joe  Behounek.  Burial will be in National Cemetery, Vining.  Visitation will be 4:00  – 7:00 PM Sunday at the Hrabak Funeral Home where there will be a Rosary at  6:30.</p>

<p>She is survived by: her husband, Dale; daughters, Beverly (Bob)  Benzel of Commerce City, CO, and Doris (Roger) Ollinger of Cedar Rapids; son,  Bob (Johnette) of Belle Plaine; also by four grandchildren and one  great-granddaughter.</p>
